pCapitan — reports with your logo, and sharing captures safely

Put your logo and client on reports, send a vendor a capture without your private details, and make firewall allow rules.

Your branding on reports

Open 📝 Report & export → 🎨 Your branding on reports:

  • the report title, your company, prepared by and the client;
  • your logo (PNG, JPEG or a plain SVG, under 1 MB);
  • an accent colour and a footer (contact details, case number, disclaimer);
  • a CONFIDENTIAL banner, and an option not to name pCapitan in the header.

Click Save branding. Every report, evidence bundle and batch report uses it from then on.

A vendor-safe copy of a capture

Support teams (Cisco TAC, Fortinet and others) often ask for a capture. 🕶️ Vendor-safe copy replaces internal addresses, MAC addresses, passwords, cookies and the internal names you list, while keeping timing, sizes, ports and sequence numbers so the vendor can still troubleshoot. Tick Headers only to remove all content.

Firewall allow rules

🧯 Respond & notes → ✅ Allow rules turns what a server was really used for into allow rules for FortiGate, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, MikroTik, nftables, iptables or Windows Firewall. Attackers and indicators of compromise are never allowed. Review the rules before you apply them.
